SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS

Engaging. Inspiring. Real.

Crowd of people seated in a large auditorium with multiple tiers of seating, attending an event or conference.

I bring my whole self to every speaking engagement, leveraging my business expertise, leadership development, and the many personal and professional experiences.

Audiences love my energy and vulnerability. With insight, intuition, and the gift of a storyteller, I will share insightful concepts, stories, and easily implemented techniques and strategies. Having been the only woman in the room (numerous times) and successfully navigating and performing within Fortune 500 companies herself, I inspire participants to dig deeper, reflect on their leadership journey, and do the work of transformation.

Because my goal is to be upfront and real, communicate intentionally, and lead authentically. As a result, individuals and organizations thrive.

  • Authentic leadership begins on the inside. This session explores what that really means—the habits, mindsets, and emotional agility that build confidence, resilience, and authenticity in leadership.

Leaders gain insight into the internal dynamics that shape how they show up, recognizing both the strengths they bring and the barriers that sometimes get in the way. Through practical leadership tools and models, participants develop a clearer understanding of how self-awareness and intentional practice influence the way they communicate, make decisions, and lead others.

Grounded in principles from The Light Switch, this session highlights the importance of shifting power from external expectations to internal alignment. When leaders learn to lead from that place, their presence becomes more grounded, their influence more authentic, and their leadership more sustainable.

Content can be refined to align with the organization’s goals and the real challenges leaders are navigating.

  • True power emanates from within — from the core. In this session, leaders are invited to reconnect with that internal source of strength, reclaiming their voice, presence, and authority in the process.

This session challenges the patterns that pull us outward. Toward validation, approval, and external noise. Grounded in The Light Switch framework and The Whole Leader Workout, Stepping Into Your Power invites leaders to examine where they are actually sourcing their power, and what it costs them when that source is external.

Through real-world examples, honest reflection, and moments that will make you think twice about what's been driving your decisions, reactions, and leadership, participants begin to see themselves and their environments with new clarity.

The shift is simple in concept and profound in practice: from external noise to internal authority. From reaction to intention. From performing leadership to actually living it.

When leaders learn to lead from this place of inner strength, their influence becomes more natural, their confidence more sustainable, and their leadership presence more compelling. This is not a session about adding more. It's simply a remembrance of what has always been inside..

The outcome: Whole Leaders who stand fully in their power — leading with clarity, influence, and authenticity.

  • In this candid and compelling session, the often-unspoken dynamics behind gender-based miscommunication are brought into the light—and yes, we are speaking in generalities, and yes, we are going there.

How do we unknowingly get in our own way? And what is really happening beneath the surface when communication breaks down?

Knowledge is power, and it is long past time to explore this historically overlooked, and occasionally not-so-politically-correct , topic with honesty and curiosity. When we begin to understand the different ways masculine and feminine power tend to show up in conversation, influence, and leadership, new possibilities emerge.

You will leave with a sharper awareness of what is being said, and what is not, when "they" are in the room — whoever "they" may be. More importantly, you will begin to recognize the patterns at play and how they shape interactions, decisions, and outcomes.

The result? Greater balance, stronger communication, and the confidence to show up, speak up, and lead with clarity and intention.

  • Most leaders are excellent communicators — within their own style. The problem is, the others sitting at the table aren't necessarily wired the same way.

Here's what that costs you: In a controlled study, four ads were written, each crafted for a specific communication profile. Participants were assessed, then asked to rank which ad resonated most. With 100% accuracy, every person chose the ad written for their type. Every single time.

    That's not a coincidence. That's a code.

This session gives leaders the opportunity to decode communication by learning their own code, the framework that proved 100% effective, and applying it through real communication strategies and hacks. In this fun and engaging session, the B.A.N.K. system, a values-based framework, goes beneath behavior and personality to the invisible values that drive every decision made by your clients, stakeholders, and team members. It sits at the bottom of the assessment iceberg, where decisions are actually made.

The methodology is quick to learn and surprisingly easy to implement. Through relatable stories, real-world examples, and interactive moments, the code is decoded.

Leaders leave understanding the various values-based communication styles, how to tailor their approach to each, and how to speak directly to what matters most to each person they are influencing.

Once you know the code, every conversation becomes an opportunity for connection, synchronicity, forward movement, and peace.

  • There is a moment when everything shifts. When a leader stops pushing, striving, and performing — and instead, plugs in.

    This is that moment.

Based on Heidi Frye's book The Light Switch, this keynote is where it all begins. Through compelling stories and vivid metaphors, it illuminates the invisible dynamics that shape how we lead, where we source our power, and why so many talented leaders feel like they are running on empty despite doing everything right.

The answer is never more effort. It is always a better source.

When power shifts from external pressure and expectation to internal alignment, leadership transforms quietly and profoundly. Communication becomes clearer. Decisions become more intentional. Presence becomes something people feel before you even speak.

Audiences leave with a renewed understanding of their own leadership capacity — and the moment they have been waiting for, finally switched on.

  • Most leadership development focuses on one of two things: who you are, or what you do. The Whole Leader brings both together, because neither works without the other.

Grounded in The Light Switch framework, this session takes the inner work out of the abstract and puts it where it belongs: inside the real demands of leadership. Decisions, communication, culture, strategy, people. This is where authenticity stops being a concept and becomes a competitive advantage.

Highly capable leaders often know what to do. What gets in the way is the gap between who they are and how they lead. When that gap closes, something shifts. Teams perform better. Communication sharpens. Culture strengthens. And the business grows — not despite the inner work, but because of it.

This is not about becoming a different leader. It is about becoming a more complete one, integrating self-awareness with operational excellence and strategic vision, until leadership stops feeling like a performance and starts feeling like an expression of who you actually are.

The result is a Whole Leader. And whole leaders don't just lead better — they build organizations that last.

Speaking Topics that Go Above & Beyond

Hi, I’m Heidi…

Speaker. Executive coach. Leadership development specialist. Author. Podcast host.

For years I’ve worked with driven leaders who are committed to growth and transformation. But it doesn’t always start out that way. Yes, achieving metrics, growing teams, and overcoming specific issues is often the first intention for engaging in coaching, but these are only entry points. The real work (and quite frankly the work clients are always most grateful for) in the end, unfolds at a deeper level. Leaders reconnect with themselves at their core. Their leadership becomes richer, more authentic, grounded, and effective.

Whether speaking to an audience, working with a leadership team, or coaching one-on-one, my focus is the same: helping leaders tap into their internal power so they can lead with greater clarity, balance, and influence.

I’d love to bring that conversation to your audience.
